This is not an RRL (Double RL) piece. Instead, it's from Ralph Lauren Country, the heritage line that preceded RRL and heavily influenced its aesthetic. Many collectors consider these late-1980s and early-1990s Country pieces to be the direct ancestors of modern RRL.

Based on the label and construction, piece dates to approximately 1989–1992.
The "Country – Authentic Dry Goods" label with Made in U.S.A. is one of Ralph Lauren's most sought-after heritage labels from that period.

- Heavy hand-tooled embossed leather with a floral Western pattern.
- Woven Southwestern blanket back (not a printed fabric).
